![]() Train like an Olympian With Cathy Noth **Fall 2008 Training Sessions** Program 2: 5 hours of setter training. 10 players per session Purpose: To develop fundamental skills of volleyball. Each skill will be covered during the 5 weeks of instruction. Setter program will develop each aspect from technique to individualized training to better oneself as an all around player. Times: 6:00-7:00 pm all skills training; 7:00-8:00 pm setter specific training. Fees: Program 1-2 5 hours - $250 paid upfront to secure spot; otherwise $65 per session, if space available. All fees are non-refundable once you have registered. Site: 3575 Hwy 138 Stoughton, WI Registration Deadline: Full payment must be received by Sept. 17, 2008 for Program 1 or 2. Contact: Call 608-241-8117 or email elcath@aol.com to reserve your spot! Cathy Noth moved from outside hitter to setter her junior season and earned AVCA All-America honors in 1983 and 1984. Noth guided NU to its first NCAA Tournament appearance in 1982 and helped Nebraska compile a four-year-record of 112-24, winning four Big Eight regular-season titles and four Big Eight Tournament crowns. She set a then-Big Eight and school record with a .398 hitting percentage in 1984. Noth’s career hitting percentage of .366 still ranks third in school history. Noth was also Nebraska ’s first three-time All-Big Eight selection and the only volleyball player in the history of the conference to earn three Big Eight Tournament MVP awards. Noth served as an assistant coach at the University of Nebraska under Terry Pettit from 1988 to 1998.
